PRINTING HISTORY
the cover is made from the grey cloth spread on printing tables, as a layer between the material that is being printed and the padded table lining.
During printing, the impressions seep through the fabric being printed, to this cloth, forming many overlays of pigments.
Each of these covers is a visual record of history of the designs that were in use, while the cloth was on the table.
